He's only done well at Macc. So no.

 

he spent loads of money that the owners coughed up and they only just crawled over the line and stayed up on the last day !! he had staff that macc can only dream of now and once he left ian brightwell was left with **** all and so it has continued... and it was ray mathius who was the brains behind it all helped by IB,ince was just the big name !!! :shutup: this guy took macc on overnight away trips to ****** everywhere including chester *** !!!!!! no concept of money !!!

End of the day he went to his boyhood team, it isnt working out and if he ends up out of work i would love to see him back here.

I think its obvious that when MA was here, it covered up an awful lot of cracks at the club. He had everyone (certainly the fans) all focused and pulling in the same direction.

 

Since he left, it has been quite surreal how we have imploded on and off the pitch.

This is another massive problem just to compound everything else that is going on with the club. But all our problems are caused by one thing. No investment from our current board and their stubborn attitude towards accepting Mo's bid.

 

The sort of manager that all the fans really want like Coleman or Buckle or anyone with the sort of pedigree and experience that is going to mould us again into a decent team is going to cost us money in wages and compensation to his former club.

 

The club cant afford to pay compensation to another club now unless someone with money comes in like Mo. We will be stuck with another second or even third choice manager who will fail miserably (Sinnot/glover/Gannon). Grewy and Horsefield are not the long term answer as we need someone with a proven track record with a long term plan.

 

The current board cannot afford the sort of manager we need and want. They had a chance to spend the compo from Sheff United but that will just surely go to Gannon now to pay him off.

 

We are in a right fine mess. The answer though is right there in front of us with Mo's bid. I cant put into words how frustrated i am right now writing this because i just know the board will mess up again and appoint a no hoper. The situation is just absolutely ridiculous.

wasnt he interested in vale before mickey came in i like ince but i dont belive he would cope well at a big club like the vale onli time he has done well is at clubs that arent brilliant and would never be able to get us promoted we need another mickey adams style manager to take the reigns i wouldnt bet againts martin allen comeing at the end of the season hes working his magic at barnet
