Graham Turner

Spoke to one of the Shrewsbury players (Aaron Wildig) today and he said he thought we were good value for something out of the game last night. He also said that Graham Turner said in the dressing room after that Vale had been the best team they had played there all season. Praise indeed

Well done Vale

This feels a bit like when I got told as a kid ' Its not the winning that matters, its the taking part'

Fair comments though and I guess he wont be the only manager saying that this season. Massively underacheived (Again) and too many silly points lost.

Turner is a nice bloke and a footballing man through and through.

He's done well at the Shrews and always talks straight.

I must say I like to see folk like him doing well.

We''ll miss the 2 Shrewsbury games but they deserve their bit of glory.

Fair play to them, decent comments from their fans.:) No reason why they can't hold their own in League One next season now they're pretty much nailed on going up automatically,

Can't knock their home record at all. They've got some decent players for our level and that's reflected with their League position.

They've had players of the quality of Lionel Ainsworth on loan at Burton which tells you how strong their squad is.

They've been knocking on the door for a few seasons now, just goes to show what an experienced manager like Graham Turner can do. He's finally taken them that step further.

Much as I enjoy the banter, well deserved this season. I hope we can emulate them next year. Another fixture i'll miss, hoping Macc Town stay up :(

Oh yes, without question.

Like I said before, they've come close so many times and it's just seems that an old head like Turner has identified that little bit of quality to take them further.

You could say, they're already pretty well equipped to do ok in league one.

We need at least 4 or 5 quality players to get to their level, and aspiring hopes of promotion next season.

It's a nice distance between the two clubs, and I know lads that support them on my team at work and I even work down there myself when they need extra hands so I know what it means to them.

Be amazing if in May 2013 we're celebrating promotion, I ****** hate this league. At least Shrewsbury have quality, they will be missed.

He took Shrews into Div2/Championship when he was younger, Imagine Rudgie coming back?

If he wanted to of course, it's just sad that he's very comfortable doing what he does where he is.

I think he's integral to Stoke's success over there, and Pulis wouldn't be letting him go in a hurry, likewise Coates.
