Another blow for the board

Promotion was the boards only hope of generating a bit of cash and shifting any season-tickets, but yesterdays results look to have banished any on-field success this season.

 

With no money coming into the club over the next couple of months, loan repayments due and Gannons legal claim for £80K hitting them any time soon, its going to be very difficult for the board.

 

Failure to gain promotion will also turn a lot of 'on the fence' fans against the board.

Its getting to the stage now where appointing Gannon could have been one of the greatest things to happen to Vale. He ballsed up promotion, and could now end up sueing the clowns.

They certainly do have issues with Mo but I don't believe they would relinquish control to anyone, even if the best vale fan ever came in with 10 million quid.

I can't see them allowing Vale to go into admin before selling to Mo. But I do think we'll be within a cats whisker of it.

 

I think that the threat of legal action from shareholders while there is a viable bid will be sufficient deterrent.

My feelings too Tosh and I know scores of people who are willing to boycott VP, such is the frustration of this clueless board. They need to step out of their arena and look in and the damage they are doing to the club, fan base and security of Port Vale FC. It is also the wider community that will suffer, the town, shops and feeder business's.
