Look, if any Stoke fan wants to come to VP on Tuesday night then let them be. This is about the survival of my football club for years to come. In our darkest hour we need everyone to step up to the plate whether it be Stoke, Man Utd, Newcastle Town to promote the wellbeing of PORT VALE FOOTBALL CLUB. I plea with all PVFC fans regardless of other opposition colours let them be and for the good of football lets embrace and hope PVFC continues. I have a lot of SCFC fans and most wish us well and to that end if any Stoke fans want to support our cause by wearing there shirts they are welcome to sit by me.

Well said:yes:Didn't Vale fans travel to support other clubs in trouble over the years AND WEAR VALE COLOURS?A truce to any rivalry is a must if any of our local fans decide to turn up.Fair play to them all and thanks too:clap:

Quick question.

On my g/f's account but i just wanted to ask.

What would my reception be like if i was to rock up to vale park on Tuesday wearing my stoke top?

If the roles were reversed and i was going to stoke to help them out,i would want every **** in the ground to know that i am a vale fan and here to help out...NOT BECAUSE I LIKE WATCHING THIS CRAP:yes: So i understand you wanting to wear it and im sure our hooligans will see through the stripes and into the good heart of a samaritan stokie:yes:

they pay money to our club and thats taking the pee ? would you rather they just give you the cash and get nothing in return ? Ive been to stoke in vale colours and my brother comes to vale in thier colours at no time its taking the mick

BV, that is your choice. I am merely saying I would not do the same.

No self-respecting hooligan would be seen dead in club colours, so you ain't going to see any of Stoke's "boys" in colours.

More likely they will be the sort who who go away on official coaches and have every match-day programme since 1972. Drongos, in short.

I very much doubt they would cause or attract trouble.

Any stoke fan who wants to stand with me at the bycars on tues pm me and any muppet who has a pop at you can explain to me why

I know a few Stoke fans who go to quite a few Vale fans and they are great blokes. No problem from my point of view either. I don't mind Stoke these days - it's Crwho I hate.

I won't be wearing a Stoke top as I don't own one. But my rugged good looks and impeccable dress sense will give me away as a Stoke fan straight off..............

TP all of my sons (he's 14) friends are Stoke fans, they have often joined us at vale games(previous seasons) wearing Stoke tops underneath their coats, but still standing and applauding when Vale scored. If you are paying £20, feel free to sit with us in the RS wearing your Stoke colours (as long as you support Vale on the night)!

What about a Fans United game? I have been to a few most notably Wimbledon and Selhurst Park with around 100 clubs (nationally and internationally) represented. A great sense of supporter unity is needed.

A scarf of all of the supporting clubs scarves was tied together which made for a great sentiment.

probably a similar reception to the one I might receive if i was to rock up at the Britannia in my Vale top.
