If we go into admin does the 24.9% rule still stand?

If we go into admin - all existing shares will become worthless. Before everyone wishes for it consider the following:

All existing shareholder fans will lose their money (& say),

Many innocent employees of Vale will lose their jobs,

The club will be deducted points (anywhere between 10 & 30),

The appointed administrators will ensure their pockets are lined at the club's expense.

The best the solution all round is for the current Board to admit defeat and put the club on the open market & let the existing shareholders decide which offer they want to accept - one shareholder one vote!

And the new owner is bogged down in millions of pounds worth of dept before he even starts. In a year we're back at square one. We also still have v2001 with a stranglehold on the club.

Admin is the only option. Wipe the slate clean and start again.

Be cafeful what you wish for as there'd be no guarantee that the Administrator would find any interested buyers. Remember what the Administrators priorities are:

1) Getting paid for the job they are doing,

2) Getting the maximum deal they can for the secured creditors (banks, IR etc) & this could include selling the ground/land.

Ensuring the club carries on will be down the list I'm afraid.

If you think it's as simple as wiping all the debts & giving the club away to a new owner with a clean slate you are extremely naive.

Surely not, he might get Dutch Helm Disease........or does that mean Rod can't tell the wood from the trees.........

And for those of you who study psychology, elm is possibly a freudian slip.....since in the old days most coffins were made out of elm, hence it's nickname "coffin wood"....so it would appear that Bill will soon be busy creating coffins for the club........

trust me bills all ready planing for the future
