We don't need anything else 'co we have a ************ chairman whose love of money will be the ruination of the club,an over cautious manager and a supposedly a yes master three bags full master ceo and a dilapidated stadium thanks to the BBC who wont spend a penny if he can get away with a farthing. I ask you what more do we need ,we have everything a supporter could possibly want.:sad:

If the ******* allows Tom to leave with yet another derisory contract offer I for one will never set foot into Vale Park again whilst the ***** is still at the Club.

Pushing Popey out last time cost us our L1 place and without him last season we would now be in the Conference.

Some things are precious to Port Vale and Tom Pope is top of that list.

My guess is that Tom has been offered a deal 50% less than his current one with the caviat of a guaranteed testimonial.

Norman please don't make the same mistake again with this fella.

No need to worry remember Smurf can replace Popes goals for half the money. Oh yes sorry I forgot what happened when he tried that brilliant idea.

Old news I know, but we finished 18th in Tom’s last season, and improved to 12th th3 year after.

It was not the Tom Pope decision that cost us, but his hair brained idea to get shut of / manage out Page and the His competent squad for th3 Bruno experiment that cost us.

This is not an anti Pope / pro Smurf rant, just stating the facts.

I am delighted that Popey is back and still doing the business, bu5 their has to be a sensible salary level attached to any player. All the talk on here was always about the % reduction Tom was faced with, but if the starting salary was way too high / out of proportion then the lower salary offer could still be sensible even if not the highest offer available to Tom.
