I doubt anyone in his/her right mind would.... unless there was a huge benefit somewhere down the line.... investment implies return but as the club runs on debt there won't be a return for a hell of a long time.

I think Smurf is a significantly better person that this lot. Smurf has made made some serious mistakes / misjudgments and hasn't mastered corporate communication well at times. But in the current moment I think he is making a reasonable effort to put Port Vale back on the upward curve. Most of all he has managed to stay in compliance with the FA regulations, civil law and criminal law. All of these are a mighty step up from the level of the Blackpool owner / investors.

I wasn't up to speed with all things Oyston and thought it was the son (Karl) that had caused the trouble... how wrong I was.

 

How on earth did a piece of work like Owen Oyston manage to get anywhere near a football club. The League and FA need their heads examining - massively understating.
