Well the V2001 Board can block the transfer of shares even in the event of Death so must look into peoples wills and a couple of Directors have left and with 9 managers in just over three years the Divorce lawyer was seen as an important skill perhaps.

That there has been 9 different managers or management teams in charge in just over 3 years has to be put into perspective as Micky Adams was in the job for 18 months and so apart from the stability of the Adams reign there have been 8 different managers or managerment teams in around 18 months either side of Adams and apart from the brief spell of stability under Adams this period under V2001 has seen the first team manager change on average every nine or ten weeks.

I have just been reliably informed that Mr Plant took up his new position yesterday and was involved in the sacking of Gannon. I wonder what attributes Mr Plant has to running a multi faceted business that another local sports lawyer apparently hadn't got?

Well the points we raised were MO was paying £5 for a share just like anybody else and what Brat had paid for them. I also pointed out the club was being mis-managed and not run to its full potential. I asked him how the likes of Accrington Stanley could survive on 1500 gates and a club with 3 times that and the amenities available couldn't make a profit. I informed him as a seasonal ticket holder how come the Vale or other institutions had never contacted me about any promotions/offers etc.

He did state he knew Bill Bratt hadn't taken his salary out of the club and I asked him why hasn't he stated this then. He had no reply.

I suppose he approached me as I was own my own and thought I'd have no idea about what the situation was. His son was all for getting involved until the other guy joined me then he backed off.

Steve Plant is quite a decent guy but I wouldnt see him as CEO he will be nothing different than we already have so we can forget about anything dramatic going to happen at the club.
