At least we now no ROBBIE wont be backing the board which is good news,there is still time to get him to back MO, so those who have his e-mail address get e-mailing,those who no his friends get talking to them.

Dont no why am responding to you but if you looked at my LAST post it said WONT,I tried to defend you a week or so ago when I thought everyone was bullying you,I apologies to my fellow OVF's and you have my permission to carry on,banbell is clearly in THE SENILE OLD GITS pocket,I think ROBBIE IS against THE SENILE OLD GITS but for reasons to himself doesn't want to be seen to be THE ONE who see's the end of THE SENILE OLD GITS, which, with HIS votes he would be,maybe out of loyalty from the time they took us out of ADMIN, he still respects BB but it seems now he wont back them hence his refusal to vote against MO ....

I cant see him changing his mind this millenium. We might as well pray for a miracle, ask the angels to intervene, because the truth is Robbie has the freedom to do what he wants. Personally, I think it is a mistake, but isn't Robbie fault, we have all done something stupid in the past, but we have to have no regrets about past decisions. I thought Rob was a better man than this. I thought he might have stepped up, done something beautiful, made the club strong, if not for us, then to make sure there is a club for our kids. I thought he would be tripping over himself to save the club he loves. I thought he would have taken this chance to make a statement, not a sexed up press release, a proper statement to the fans, saying that it is only us who can rid Port Vale of the bodies in the board room. But you know me, maybe I have misunderstood the numbers, maybe I should just listen to tonights game on the radio and forget about Robbie doing the right thing. I just feel that the EGM has come undone now. It is such a shame.

He probably remembers Bratt as he was, and does not realise the change. As the saying goes power corrupts..., maybe too strong, but it certainly changes people, they like the perks etc.

The EGM is still worthwhile, its weeks away, we have to show our moral strength, lots can be revealed in that time.

One person did describe your father and referred to you as "a little runt", just telling you what I heard before you fly off on one.

 

I don't know him, Tim (don't know you either, come to that) but - whilst you come over as someone passionate and opinionated at the same time, WV comes across as a know it all who isn't very nice.

 

Having said all that, these are only observations off a message board and most people on here think I'm a ****! :D

Cheers Mark, the day I worried about what people thought about me on here or anywhere else was a long time ago. I only care about one thing at port vale at the moment and that is to rid ourselves of this board. Some people won't realise until they are gone just what a woeful bunch of incompetants they really are. People have become accustomed to their montonous comments and brainwashed by them and believe we are where we are. I happen to think if run properly we could be oh so much better than that & I will fight until it happens as will the other good people I have got to know through all this.

Please tell me you realised the song titles dropped into my first post. It was all tongue in cheek. I posted the figures on here and even if we are very optimistic and assume a 100% turn out (apart from Robbie) and that the shares are evenly distributed (making NLV survey correct in terms of one share one vote, as well as one man one vote) it only gives 49% against the board. I think an EGM would only give the board the ability to say 'x% of shareholders voted for us, showing the majority want us to stay.' All the while ignoring the fact they are the majority!! It all stinks, they have basically fixed it so the only people who can vote them out is themselves. Holding an EGM would only make it 'official' and give them one more arguement to use against leaving. IMO of course ===

The longer that things go on, so do more worms come out of the woodwork, and more people realize what the problem about the board is. It is a matter of education, education, education. Let more snipers and carpers come on here, it gives the believers the opportunity to educate the newbies who come on here seeking facts, by shooting them down. Tiresome, but worth it to win the day.===============
