I'm slightly confused. Some didn't want a fan owned club as it clearly wasn't working but the same people are now moaning we aren't a fan owned club. There's never going to be an end is there.

Do we know the outcome of the poll carried out on Saturday?

I agree with that as my previous post shows. I wanted rid of the fan run club and am glad its gone. No longer can the 'not vale fans' excuse be used (though its interesting how the people who shouted that the loudest have now gone very quiet). However, fighting for change, didn't necessarily mean any change no matter who it was. I went back for the first time yesterday, but Im still angry at V2001 and the fans for turning away the best chance we had for progress we would ever have had.

I liked the idea of a fan owned club, in hind sight it was only ever going to work if those in power held true to the ethos & charter, they didnt....the rest is history

Correct! For my part i'm just going to wait and see and hopefully enjoy the footy. I'm willing to give 'em a chance and see what happens over the next 6 months. I'll trust 'em..........for now. :shifty:

Haha, I was on about this to someone the other day, it seems some of the more voiciferous characters have been 'targeted' and talked around, whilst I know others told them to..well no thanks:) It reminds me of that film Invasion of the Body Snatchers how some have completely and very suddenly changed:unsure:

Having said that I do think myself that for now we have to give the new regime time and a chance to prove themselves and I wish them well.

Would love to know what Hank thought about Saturday though...

Im quite happy to give them a chance, a chance to prove me wrong as I think they are all full of it :)

It just makes me laugh that the arguments used so aggressively by the pro boarders against a certain investor apply even more so to the current lot, except one of course.

I had the same heated discussion on Saturday in the Valiant Suite with two men I have not met before, the logic of some at times is baffling

I thought all was well now? When I questioned any of this I was shouted down by people who - 5 minutes before - were arguing against the bunch of 'gentleman' we now have running the club.

Truth is - we are where we were, just with different faces.

The argument is that we have to give them time to prove to us either way. We can't blame yesterdays shambolic performance on the new board.

Can't see how that vote can represent the majority of the fans views. When I arrived at the ground there was only one person taking votes. I was the second voter on the sheet and there were quite a few in the ground. Could have been a new sheet though.

Many of the supporters that sit around me didn't know a poll was being conducted so didn't have the chance to vote.
