You can't have seen many vale keepers then if you think he Commands his area the best! I'm all for giving the lad and other lads praise but come on.

 

Probably not been going as long as you,so only seen a few keepers,but if you read my post again you will see I said his area play is SOME OF THE BEST for a long time,this in my opinion is right for a long time Vale keepers have been glued to the line and afraid of crosses,like I say only my opinion,lets hear yours !

I've been rooting for Boot but we do need a new keeper desperately, he is gonna cost us alot of points in the remainder of the season.

What's the reason you think this, his handling on crosses looks very good pulls out some good saves, his kicking has improved and he is getting better and more assured game by game -plus he has just been in goal v Carlisle(win),Colchester (draw),Coventry (win)would another keeper have done better...

 

We have a more experienced keeper at number 2 who he is keeping out of the team

Funny how we see things different in football, I think his kicking and distribution have been fine but his shot stopping and handling is awful it's like the ball is a hot potato when he tries to the simplest of things at times personally don't have alot of confidence in him but haven't seen enough of Lainton to know if he's any better.
