Poor post that.

I'm far from a happy clapper myself and at times last season Michael Brown made mistakes. But that will happen with a rookie manager. He is learning on the job!

The squad he has assembled on a minimal budget, I have been impressed with.

We will not get relegated to the conference. I worried when we lost to Fleetwood on the last day and said we would go down again but I've been optimistic with what's gone on.

Colin Garlick has been superb. The squad looks decent and very balanced with youth and experience and we have a team of staff who are winners.

I do think it will be you who is eating your words come Christmas Ernie.

Do I think we will walk the league? No. But I think we will be in and around the top 7 most of the season.

Let's see what happens.

You have told us several times you are there on match days and that you only want success for all things Port Vale.

 

Then you post the above...

 

I as see it MB isn't going anywhere just yet which means, given your post, we will be relegated come the end of the season - just so you can say you were right and I was wrong.

Some disgraceful posts coming from you. Wishing relegation on us? Why do you even bother to go then?

 

Reality is if we go up or if Yates or Tonge netted you'd be a fickle fan and be up clapping and cheering and enjoying the moment like the rest of us.

Not much chance of that with Yates at Macclesfield.When did he last score a goal.
