I think it's not just his agent but also the company he keeps. Both Bruce and Terry will be telling him he's far better than L2 and he'll clearly want to play at the highest level he can. I think he'll only sign if he doesn't get another reasonable offer in L1. He's clarly hedging his bets.

 

Exactly,he's tasted life in League Two with Acc.Stanley and doesn't fancy getting kicked from pillar to post again?

That midfield worries me. A quality CM is a must if we have any aspirations to do well this season.

 

Guy would be quality at this level, and Pugh offers experience and leadership. For me they'd be a good combination and you can't hope for too much better without being completely unrealistic in my opinion. Green and Montano should be amongst the best wide players in the league as a pair.

 

I honestly don't know what some people are hoping for or expecting.

I'm happy with the sound of it to be honest, in addition to ADF & one or two others (haven't seen any trialists yet).
