Walsall game to be re-scheduled

Bloody farce at this level ,,calling games off for international duties!

 

It's a farce at any level. International football always used to be played midweek, nowadays it buggers up the football programme every few weeks. I couldn't give a **** about international football, and nor does anyone I know.

... Are both the two Tuesdays - before and after our postponed game (21st and 28th) 'covered' by the International break?

 

We are playing Coventry/MK Dons on these dates

Have Walsall indicated that they will definitely postpone? Can they waive it?

 

If they're mid table and not really that bothered they might decide to play the game anyway to avoid any fixture congestion of their own and any negative impact on the attendance caused by moving it to a midweek.

Tuesday 25th April (the week leading up to the last game of the season)

 

Tuesday the 11th is the week before Easter. We play on Friday the 14th and Rochdale play their game against Bury on Thursday the 13th, so they won't want that date.

 

I'm not keen on the idea of playing the last Tuesday of the season. I have bad memories of what happened at Exeter in 92/93 and I was a nervous wreck listening to the Cardiff away game in 93/94 on the radio.

Last night 2 of their international superstars started the game, one other came on as a substitute.
