We are 3rd in the league with a decent squad and manager with the oppurtunity of investment and you frickin lot always have to pick the negative news to comment on!!!! What upset me was the first para on the Vale site which included " Blue Sky will facilitate investment", to me a facilitator is like a midwife, necessary, but someone else produces. Does this mean that much of the headline money will be made up of grants?

You have picked up on exactly what struck me as well,"facilitate"..sounds like

"we couldnt get any investment, but we found some one who said HE could".

 

I really want this to be good news, but this, plus the lack of money mentioned for the team is strange to say the least.

 

We need more details.

What I don't get is with £8m investment it seems there is next to nothing for the st team? Unless they want to keep it quiet to stop prices being pushed up? What are community outreach projects for £2.5M? Hopefully it will all become clear soon!
