I dont want Horse as manager long term but we have nothing to lose short term,i would still go for Coleman at the end of the season who appears to have wanted to come here a couple of times,the only problem there is that i dont think any of the board will have any idea on who he is despite playing his team yesterday.

To think they could have gone for Paul Buckle who is perhaps the new Eddie Howe and as Torquay had run out of money and had to cut the playing budget and send loan players back Buckle was ready to consider a move...was only under a very short contract and would have cost a fraction of the Adams compensation....Gannon just had a totally different football style to Adams and would have needed a pre-season and Pete Ward as assistant to work.

But V2001 wouldn't pay any compensation and only looked at unemployed managers despite having the Adams compensation and have even decided not to give the manager funds for the loan players needed in a promotion campaign as they want a "war chest" inorder to fight Mo Chaudry and to protect their positions with the season ticket boycott around the corner...they clearly put themselves before the club and would rather not get promotion and turn down a record 5 million investment to do so.
