I wont be holding my breath! He might talk to Mark but lip service springs to mind.

well its up to Mark Sims to boss the conversation and the negotiations then, he was elected by the shareholders and the board including Mike Lloyd recieved a vote of no confidence.

also, If the American trip doesnt go to plan then Lloyd may HAVE TO pay more than lip service to Sims

I've been away for a week so aren't clued up on what's been happening, but assuming the deal breaks down where does this leave the entire board?

Will Glenn still not stand for re-election, will Bratt get his sharemoney back and leave quietly by the back door?.....what of Lloyd, with his 'talk' in tatter's.

What also of Jackson and Meigh?

For the American tour to be a success for Ameriturf as a marketing exercise it needs to have been worth more than £50,000 to them in terms of brand building and promotion.

With all due respect to ourselves, I can't see what they are getting out of bringing a fourth division football team over to the States.

In fact, I can't see why they are looking to invest money in a sport that doesn't use artificial turf at all. Especially with the Olympics round the corner.

Good point , we are always wary of investors motives but seriously what is in it for them. Being linked with the Vale ? How high profile is that.

Im calling BS. The sport of football DOES use 3g pitches and the market is set to explode now the quality of the synthetics has reached the level it has.

Sure, at a professional level it is not used for first team games. Wow, thats 90 odd pitches out of the tens of thousands out there in england and wales - most of which are pish poor quality mud baths. Have you ever played sunday league? Make no mistake, fortunes are set to made in the UK alone in the next 20 years in this market.

You look for some huge conspiracy and choose to ignore the obvious change that is coming. I guess that's that SOT mind-set people keep bringing up on here.

I've been told the 7th. Considering Pratt had spent 6months (day & night) working on it and they are going to finalise the deal, why does it take so long??

Err, why even go the USA? the immigration is a bitch, the flight aint cheap (who paid??) and they all know each other now, like bessies? Makes NO business sense. Tin pot,

UNLESS it is NOT plastic pitch and it IS £5M+. Better be ,,,,,,,...........or dunner even think about the flight back. ===

You killed our club...........potentially.
