Perry Deakin mentioned this initiative at Wolves both yesterday and at the meeting last week.

What do you reckon?

 

Since they have a structure in place, no point in re-inventing the wheel. Just modify it to suit North Staffs, they are different down there. How many attend thier meetings?

I wonder if in this new era of transparency they'll allow the meetings to be recorded?

 

Dave Felstead said they were not happy with yesterdays meeting being recorded - what do they have to hide?

 

Transparency my @r$e, if anything they're more reluctant to be open than before the EGM because they've seen what fan power can do

I think most of us thought that when V2001 took over we were getting a fan owned club. The original charter seemed to be fair. Unfortunately this was hijacked by few individuals who yes invested their hard earned savings into the business, but allowed self-interest to dominate.

 

It may be too far down the line but have we thought about maybe trying to get the club restructured along the German lines. Fans own 51% and other investors can go up to 49%.

We will never unfortunately be in the big league of getting huge investors but if we could get something along these lines it may be a suitable alternative. Thoughts anyone? ===
