Agreed Behavioural Contract

Recommended Posts

Charlton have sent out letters to their season ticket holders that they have identified to have posted negative comments on social media about them. They are making these people have to personally see the duty safety officer, and their season ticket will be given "on condition" that they sign an agreed behavioral contract stopping them from posting negative comments.

Surely this has to be a wind up?

heard a guy on sports talk who has been issued with this and had to go to a meeting which he took supporters club rep with him...says they have seen him in a match (as they know where he sits and watch on cctv) run towards the boards during the match which they class as abusive behaviour + his twitter pages have been brought up which he admits have swear words aimed at the running of the club-he/friend had a flag which is now banned because it was against the current board-i think he also did voluntary work at the club whom he thinks want him out even though he is a season ticket holder and never been racist , homophobic just a normal fan letting off steam

surely as a fan.......

he has human rights where he can have a rant? i find that pathetic. nobody can stop you from having a rant.

Of course they can, its their property and fans come in at their allowance, just like a shop can refuse to sell you any item on their premises or refuse to allow you entry, the club have a right to dictate what behavior they deem acceptable [withing the confines of the law]

The club has a duty of care to others in their stadium.
