Deakin Defends Fan Deal!!!

Deakin would never walk away from his contract, much more beneficial for him to be "releived" of his duties

That's what I meant, a new board will get rid of him. I don't believe for a second he's done any good deals, after all if any were so good why didn't he announce a figure when it would clearly show he helping the club deal with SEO?

As a 'good will' gesture will Deakin refund people who purchased STs, so they too can enjoy £10 per game.

This is a kick in the balls for all ST holders. PVFC don't give a ****** about anyone regardless of weather you are pro or anti-board.

Complete scum!

I'm fed up of reading about forum members guesswork and speculation.

I am waiting and searching for some good news, re: at least two, or better still three board members resigning.

Maybe next week will bring something positive for the club?

Deakin joined the party late on and has brought in some good investment, however, his actions towards fans and most especially the Nantwich affair have cast a poor light on the man. Unlike GO and BB I would not demand his immediate resignation, but suggest that he starts looking for alternative employment in the near future.

Mike Lloyd has maybe been a little unfortunate. He at least has voted for change in the post (i.e. Newton) and has at least met with the fans ion the past. Yes, he has shown poor judgement and yes he should have known more about what was going on (e.g. Ameriturf), however, he has previous experience (Walsall) and would be a good man in combination with Mark Sims to at least bring back some semblence of unity amongst Vale fans again.

BB can go today! GO should go yesterday!

And so speaks the man of wisdom.. :D ..... couldnt put it better me-sen ..

**** off Deakin. You have heard what the fans have got to say. They want V2001 gone. There will be no compromises.

The board have had months, years even to listen to the wishes of supporters. To start paying attention and building bridges only upon realising that they are about to lose this whole saga to the Starve 'em Out campaign, stinks.

Try showing some respect to our wishes rather than insulting the SEO campaign with a desperate, 11th hour attempt to call it off.

Tik Tok, not long now.

Empty words from an empty man. This is just the time when we should be sticking firmer to our guns to see this thing through to the botter end. Its good that the march is getting so much publicity and its down to us protesters that our problems have now been highlighted on the back page of the local rag - congrtats all, SEO!
