He flew over backwards in the air and landed on his back, then got up holding his chest and dropped again on the floor when most Vale players were waving urgently at the bench.

 

Hope it's not a broken rib, if so his season is over. Such a shame for the lad, he gives his all for the team and adds so much to the back four.

Does anyone know if the injury that led to him being subbed was linked to the earlier knock to his shoulder?

 

For those who were at the game/ didn't listen to Radio Stoke, Ray Williams said that there was a Sun reporter at the game who was hoping to do a piece on Ryan for the 'paper' on Monday. Don't know if that'll happen now, and wouldn't have that rag in the house if you paid me, but I guess some might be interested...
