How much does the club get for each ticket they sell on Burton's behalf?

 

I suppose they charge admin costs, otherwise quid pro quo.

Look over the last few seasons away followings. Once you get past 60-90 minutes from Stoke, there's been some absolute shockers.

 

Didn't we have the 4th highest avg away following in league 1 & 2 last year ?

 

If Seo continues I see us having huge away followings. I'm already lined up for Barnet, burton, Wimbledon & plymouth

We did cpade however we also had relatively local games against Stockport (1,362 Vale), Chesterfield (1,551 Vale), Bury (1,945 Vale) that we won't have this season and that have been replaced by games miles away.

 

Personally, I don't think SEO will see a huge impact on away followings. What will happen is that people will simply drift out of the habit and when change is eventually made they will be tough to win back. That's the danger of ignoring your customers - they go elsewhere and potentially never come back.

I assume it is easier getting new customers than winning back dissatisfied former customers?

Well they have,nt sold many season tickets anyway so we will be fine well they go on general sale

What a lot of fuss about nowt. You'll be able toddle up on spec and get a ticket to any away game. All the clubs we're up against will take our money. I look forward to a "I couldn't get a ticket for XXXX game " thread. Breath not being held.

We will be alright SEO are going the away games, so by there reckoning we should have a good number of fans and then on top of that the die hard fans who go week in week out. Be interesting see how many we take Plymouth.

Personally can't see any further than Burton, Crewe, Macc and Shrewsbury being made all ticket.

 

Look at the geography of the division. Do people really expect Dagenham, Barnet, Aldershot, Plymouth, Torquay, Swindon, Bristol Rovers, Oxford, Gillingham, Southend, Crawley, Wimbledon, Northampton, Hereford, Bradford, Rotherham (where about 15,000 of us could probably be accommodated) to be all ticket?

 

If so, you are almost certainly in need of a trip back to reality.

65 at Hartlepool is one i remember. It was a freezing cold Tuesday night in February though. And we were ****.

Perhaps.

 

It's a damning indictment of the position the board has led the club to that it even came to the table let alone into action.

 

It could take years before the club regains some of those it has lost over the past 12 months, if they are to come back at all.

Excuse or not there would still be more people buying season ticket's if the remaining 3 scrote's did one.Maybe even more share's sold.Which would result in more money going into the club.Which can only be for the better of the club.
