Massively overactive thread to a run of poor results and abject away performances. Not in the top 10 of worst Boxing Day performances for me.

 

Yes Page needs to change his attitude and the players need to improve their performance levels pdq but get some perspective skinty

i admit I am no Page fan and for me he is too negative and I would get rid but would not have today as one of the worst.

 

I remember Rotherham away on Boxing Day a few years back, they had 10 men for about 80 minutes and we still managed to lose, a Vale team with the likes of Howland, Prosser, Davidson, Scott Brown, Perry, Danny Glover, Steve Thompson, maybe today wasn't as bad.

If your lowest point is a boxing day game v Bury then you have got away lightly!

 

My personal lowest point was Chasetown away (im still thawing out to this day fron that night), dreadful performance from a side that couldnt be arsed & we missed two pens, i get back on the coach & the first song i hear is "apologize" by one republic...it certainly was too late to apologize.

 

I can also add to that games v Canvey Island, Scarborough, Macc Town, all far lower points.

 

For me mid table is ok for us & not to be sniffed at, i think the trouble is that we are playing so appalingly that many fans are worried that if our modest home form dips then we are in big trouble.

How on earth can anyone be optimistic about 2016 with a *** as a Chairman, fans who continue to embarrass us and a manager who, at best, is still learning his trade?

Lots of lows watching Vale so I can understand the opening posters opinion.

It's always the same it seems Walsall and Coventry ,neither of them sides r remotely good ,for a hr giving a good account of ourselves then losing because there manager has gone for it and our manager is so negative and has gone with the same way of playing for 90 mins .

He is no manager .

We only 10 points of bottom place and if u don't score goals where the points going come from .

We r playing stay up nowt else sorry but bar Andoh Foley Innis Duffy and Alnwick the rest of them well they flatter to deceive the paying public.

Tidy players some of them but not real winners who have the leadership to deliver anything bit averageness.

We have had questionable chairmen in the past... we have had a fair share of questionable managers too... but we are still here... still vale... still hoping.
