On reflection I think I should have said a bit more on the results rather than on the next stage.

 

In my own mind I had moved from the survey to the calling of the EGM, but I think a number folk might not have heard how big the vote of no confidence was and the positive feelings towards Mo's bid.

 

I did ask people to look at Mo's bid and compare it with the boards 'Way Forward' document and decide which was was in the best interest of Vale.

Lindon rejoined the PVVG and took on the Supporters' Rep role again. I've not spoken to Lindon for a few months so unsure as to whether he still holds this position.

 

Yet another abject failure by V2001.

Lindon does still hold the position but has not been invited to a Board meeting since taking it up again late last year.

More fool him then. Don't you have had to held your shares for a certain period before an egm to be able to vote? He may be able to attend and then sit and watch as he is voted back off the board and wasted £50k in the process, foolish man especially after what he has been told earlier in the week.

This is not very interesting, but I'd just like to say thanks a lot to NLV. Fantastic effort to get the shareholders views heard and push for an EGM. Never thought I'd say anything good about something with the word "London"in its epiphet. Just a quick question, where did you get the list of shareholders from? I'm one but I never got anything.

this isn't a very good answer but all of the shareholder details are kept somewhere and the NLV commissioned a company to contact everyone on the database where ever it was stored. from memory the data was accurate to the end of 2008 so if you purchased shares after this date or changed address after this date then you probably wouldnt have been contacted

I inherited a wodge from my grandad, the are lodged with some sot solicitor. I have bought some myself, they are wodged with a different sot solicitor. Haven't heard anything from either. Interesting though that the list was "accurate" to end 2008. That means that this was a poll of hard core shareholders that pre-date the current shenanigans.

The only information readily available was the 2008 share register lodged at Companies House by Vale. The database is building and becoming more accurate.
