How the hell was his overall record bad? He led Liverpool to the last week of a title challenge which absolutely nobody would have predicted during his time at the club. Last season was poor but let's also not forget that Liverpool were the form side in the country for a couple of months, and that's after losing Suarez, arguably the 3rd best player in the world, and Sturridge, who when fit is a goal machine. Jurgen Klopp has a terrible season with Dortmund last year - Is he suddenly a bad manager? Don't talk absolute nonsense. Rodgers' time at Liverpool was clearly over but to try to insist that his record is bad is ridiculous.

 

His comments about Spurs needing to challenge for the title after spunking 100 million really damned him after he did 2.5 times that.

 

His signings have largely been failures.

 

Oh and he loves himself despite never having won a major honour.

 

His overall record despite one Suarez inspired season isn't the best.

I think Klopp has won trophies hasn't he? Along with getting Dortmund to the European Cup final. Comparing the two is pretty spurious, as I think only Brendan Rodgers, along with possibly Brendan Rodgers' mum, thinks that he is a better manager than Klopp.

 

I don't think even his mum love him as much as he loves himself!

Most managers at clubs like Liverpool, Man Utd etc... aren't given long enough to get a record as bad as Rodgers did, hence why no manager has lasted more than 3 seasons without winning a trophy at either of these clubs since the 1950s.

 

Apart from Ferguson, of course.

The disgraced former coach of Liverpool FC and the disgraced soon-to-be former coach of the England rugby team are going into business.

 

The two men will soon be opening of the doors of “Try ‘n’ Score”, a singles bar for desperate humans with nothing to lose.
