Decent point but sounded like we could and should have won the game. With all the corners we had perhaps we would have with O'Connor in the side.

Looks like andoh should have started in place of dodds like many suggested. Its good to have a much stronger defence now, which was the main issue to sort out, but the imbalance in the squad, and lack of striking options is a concern. Its pointless having 15 midfielders and 4 keepers when you you cant score. Its early days though, and a local derby against crewe isnt the best match to make decisions on how we are going to fare throuh the season. And when you look at bradfords and sheff utds results, then not a bad first day.

Its telling that the crewe man of the match was their keeper though.

Would have taken this at the start of the day. We sounded by far the better team and goals will come. Clean sheet is massive for me and we seemed a lot more solid at the back.

Look at Bradford and Sheff Utd.. Things could have been a lot worse.
