I thought it was difficult to get into the home end as Crewe take your postcode etc when trying to buy a ticket. Dont you need to register with them? I would consider this but sounds a ballache

If people want to pay a higher price for a sold out ticket they can, happens with any 'sold out' event. But yes if you dont mind sitting on your hands and keeping about £30- £40 in your back pocket go sit with the railway children.

I'm sure it's not legal to sell tickets for more than face value? I checked this out as I was looking at England away tickets on a sold out game and the rules on touting, surely this is also covered by the FA/FL's regulations?

If someone is daft enough to pay £60 to watch 90 mins of third division football, then good luck to them. Personally, I'd sell it to mates for face value if I had a spare, but everyone is different I guess.

I must have a different understanding of the word"dupe".

 

I take it to mean to deceive, mislead or trick someone.

 

None of those is happening here. He/she is putting it out there at that price and seeing if anyone is willing to pay it.

 

As it happens, single tickets can be harder to shift than pairs so he/she may struggle.

 

It's a poor show, no doubt - but nobody is being "duped" as far as I can see.
