My personal choice would be.

Neal.

Vesseli, Collins, Bergin, Dickinson.

Andoh, Reeves, Brown, Marshall.

Pope, Kapend.

On the bench

Boot, Robertson, Coulibaly, O'Connor, Steele,

Good mixture of youngsters there, lets give them a go.

Neal vesalli deen conteh brown collins n smith marshall o connor pope campion coulibaly. 2 wingers put the balls in the box for pope and campion there.

That's too many changes in my opinion, those who haven't played at all should get 30-35 minutes as subs, like Deen Conteh, and Id give Eno Andoh a run out too. With Campion it really is down to whether RP has decided to keep him, same goes for Coulibaly - if Mo Couli is going back for sure, no point playing him.

Also no point really in playing anyone who is going to be released, let's not name names here out of respect for players who have done their best for Vale a lot of the time but maybe been found wanting.

There is an argument for giving Sam J a game in goal as well if we are keeping him, and Neal is my player of the year so that is because I don't think he is great - I so.

Would be nice to not lose this game and let the moaners say we barely avoided relegation, get RP signed up asap and then put everything possible into keeping the key players who need new contracts, then the ST sales will flow.

To give the youngsters a proper chance they need to play with the majority of the first team. I would like to see Johnson, Smith and Lloyd starting with Boot, Coulibally (if a possible signing) and O'Sullivan (if a possible signing) on the bench although I think we've seen enough of Coulibally and O'Suliivan to know they are worth signing. The same applies to Collins, but I would still include him in the starting line-up to give stability to the defence. The likes of Andoh, Campion, and the ex-youth team players should get a chance in pre-season to see if they have improved sufficiently to warrant a first team place.

I don't think Lloyd is good enough, sadly. He's been nowhere near the first team lately and is way behind Marshall and Moore in my book.

If we might try and sign him, give Culibaly a chance from the off. He seems a better bet than Lloyd.

Too many changes and too many youngsters and we'll lose 0-5 so we don't want that.

Give a couple of them perhaps a 20 minutes run out at the end if it makes sense but I imagine he's more likely to look again at Campion.

It's a pity it's taken us so long to keep our league status, otherwise we could have looked at 3-4 younger lads by now.

The retained list next week will be interesting and tell us a lot about how high we're having the bar for next season. Do we clear out very many of them or keep the nucleus and add only 3-4 to the group?

I think we've seen enough of Coulibally and O'Suliivan to know they are worth signing.

Coulibaly possibly, he has certainly looked promising in his cameos. O'Sullivan absolutely not- his one start again Rochdale was possibly one of the worst individual performances I have ever seen in a Vale shirt.

I'm all for playing a lot of the youngsters but let's not forget a lot of players gonna be leaving Vale and in particular I want Pope to play a full game because I truly believe it's his last and it's only right we give him standing ovation at the end, something tells me that lad gonna get abit emotional on Sunday

I'm sad because I don't think people will be rushing to buy ST if Page gets the job? Have a word.

Congratulations, welcome to Daft Dave's Dipstick Club! Be prepared to be abused, mocked, completely misunderstood and made to look very bright when engaging in debate with him :D

I think it's looking ever more likely it will be Page, I'm not certain he has the pull of an Adams or Rudge for example. It seems most at best are just not bothered if he gets the job. Not a ringing endorsement.
