What is that yellow kit Chris Neal keeps playing in occasionally?

Just a version of the other kits he plays in but it's yellow.

 

He's worn it three times and we've lost every game.

 

All the goalkeepers shirts are outfield players shirts in the Errea teamwear catalogue.

Just like the rest of the Errea kit, the quality is vastly improved this year. I really hope we stick with Errea for many years to come.

Is it the goalie kit from the third kit? (even though he wore green when the outfielders wore the purple kit). I guess it was because Oldham played in blue and the worlds slowest goal kick taker wore green.

 

Similarly, what was the deal with goalie kits last year? All they sold in the shops were pink or yellow, yet the keepers themselves only seemed to wear pale blue or green (which weren't on sale).

I always think it's a shame that the keeper has the smartest kit (blue), I would love for us to play in either this or the purple every away game. Cannot stand our regular away, looks crap. Blue & purple ones are so nice, easily my favourite ones in recent years.

Yes, the sizings are a bit inconsistent. I hope we can also have the badge sorted for next season on the black garments, as this seasons is wrong and looks terrible.

I believe the rule is that goalkeepers on opposing sides can't wear the same colour kit to avoid confusion if a goalkeeper goes up for a corner. It's the same rule that applies to teams not wearing the same colour socks even if the rest of their kit doesn't clash. I'm told that this has only arisen in the last few years as many keeper kits are now templates and two keepers could have ended playing in the same game wearing virtually identical kits. Case in point being Sunderland and Stoke's kits from last season:

Can anyone remember Mussy's weird timelord shirt? I think it had clocks and compasses on it. He was ace, was Musselwhite. Obviously slated to **** at the time though.
