Secondly, name me one game in league 2 which has been covered live on Sky on the opening day of the season??

It doesnt happen.

 

I honestly don't know what arrangements Sky have for any lower division coverage so apologies if there is no chance of that.

I see exactly where you are coming from, and remember not so long ago when we might have got Newcastle, West Ham or someone similar as our first fixture in the old Div 2 (now Championship) and of course I long for those days too.

I always get enthusiastic with the fixtures though, still a big kid at heart despite my age, and to some extent was relating to the excitment that AFC Wimbledon fans in particular must be feeling. They have done really well in getting to this stage and I wish them luck - not so sure about wanting Crawley to do well but it is also a historic day for them.

When all the Vale wars are over, I hope we can have our own 'great' times again.:)

Ok, my brothers mate works in the secretarial part of the Football League so he's got hold of some as they're drawn weeks before. Only got the key dates (first few games, boxing day, last game etc.) so I'll whack the first two dates up if mods have no objections?
