For a while after the EGM I was totally devastated that the vast majority of shareholders who voted did not get their wish and see the end of the Board.

 

In a few days we will hopefully be able to publish the number of shareholders who voted for and those against the Board. Without doubt the vast majority have not won the day.

 

We now have a 3 man Board (Mark Simms at the present moment in time has not accepted a place on the Board even though he was voted on).

 

This 3 man Board cannot sign players or make any decisions whatsoever that involve commercial contracts. - The club is now in limbo, and if the views of those fans at Vale Park today are true then there is going to be a lot of empty places at Vale Park next season.

 

If Robert Lee (Broxap) had put his morals and 'love of Port Vale' before the desire to have his palm crossed with silver we would now be celebrating the complete removal of the Board and a club with new Directors, drive and enthusiasm.

 

I'm afraid that today the Bad guys have won the day.

 

But don't be despondent because the puppet has lost the puppet master and the two other Directors hate each others guts.

 

Another EGM can't be far away and this time, hopefully, the good guys will come out on top.

 

We have seen an 8 man Board reduced to 5 and then after today reduced to 3 so we must take encouragement from that.

 

Finally, a huge thank you to Robbie Williams from all of us in the Supporters Club for giving us his proxy. I have yet to find any fan (even the few Board supporters I've spoken to) who haven't welcomed Robbie's decision to put his votes with the fans.

We will get these ****ers out, and when we do, Rob Lee can have his name added to the list of scummers banned from VP.

The problem with that is that it either can't happen (If Mark declines directorship and another EGM needs to be called as there's only 3 directors on present 'board') or the sales will be blocked (the ****ers outnumber Mark on a handvote)

 

Plus, it will increase the amount of money Mo has to spend to get 24.9% by a very large amount.

 

Rob Lee is a grade A ****.

 

will they vote on £1k of shares? f so would they vote on 100 x £500?

 

I maybe clutching at straws here but my brain is doing overtime

Isn't the problem with calling another EGM that the board would set the resolutions. Thereby just the resolution to remove the minimum number of directors. Then Bratt and co, would threaten shareholders the club will go into Admin without their votes and would end up winning.

Not sure how these things work, so perhaps someone could advise.

surely a new call for a new EGM would mean that the callers could set the agenda.
