It doesn't always work that the club that spends the most wins the most.If that was the case Liverpool would have won the league years ago.Also,how can a manager be voted manager of the year when he will probably win nothing compared with someone who will probably win 2 trophies and in his first season in the Premiership.Brendan has had his chance ,I doubt he will get a better one in the future.

Cos of where he started from...with a team in 7th place his achievement is considerable. Plus the players have improved markedly

 

Pellegrini inherited a top 2 team and the team that finished above Man C last season has plummeted down the table so what's he really had to do to get some success..how has he had to improve them?

The answer to your question is in the stats for last season - goals.Liverpool have improved,no doubt,this season except for their defence.Maybe he'll work on that next season.If it's means improving gets you manager of the year ,Tiny wins it by a mile.
