opinion on Tommy Cheadles bar?

Hi all ive been meaning to put this on here for a while now,but been interested in the goings on down the vale.

But anyway thought i might change the mood abit,basically i attended a party at tommy cheadles bar and thought what a mess/dump it was...and that surely better use of this building could made.

What do you all think?...as i thought abt it..what would people think if say for example it was totally gutted and out sourced to say a sports bar?...would it get up peoples backs because tommys is no more?...or would u think this would be a good idea?...as a company coming in would pay the club to use this building.

Something id suggest to LB after they are in...as this board are a joke.

I discussed it with Mo and MARK the 1st time I saw it and it is on the list of "things to do" which seems to get longer and longer the more I delve into the murky goings on at PVFC.

 

Alas, what will be will be.

oh yea of course..dont get me wrong..this board out first....but it just got me thinking that WHEN mo and mark are in,we could approach them with ideas...like this?

As other clubs have pretty good bars...stokes deliahs does very well..and not just on match days.

Would people be peed off that tommys cheadles goes and a sports bar company moved in.

As wondering if people attached to it or not?

Totally agree it is a dump, it isnt cheap either. As someone who has been in the construction industry for the past 36 years i can see that the quality of workmanship that has been done inside is very poor at best.

which is why it got me thinking...its a building thats a mess....crnt be making money...so why not obviously in future outsource it..to make us money.

But then i thought....but would the fans be totally against it...just because of the name.?

It must be more than 40 years old, is Colin Grainger still on the wall? I assume the brewery loan is related to Lorne St, or is it Tommies. The principle of a legends bar is fine, but needs to be a decent standard to attract non-match day custom, what are the economics? As for the name, there are not many of us left who saw him play, Centre Halves of his day were expert slide tacklers, a red card offence today, but spectacular to watch as the centre forward leapt out of the way.
