The big question is what does the chairman want to do as holder of the purse strings. At the moment, it looks on the surface that he is not breaking a gut to get Adams or any other player on a contract that ties them to the club. This might be a genuine cautious approach given he wants to see first in which league we will be playing next season. However, once we hit the 50 point mark in League 1, if he is happy to spend the cash for next season, Adams and players like Lines and Dickenson should be offered terms that are competitive to try and keep them at the club next season. My worry is I am unsure whether he has the finances to do this or if he has, he does not want to.

Just seen Linesey in the Pig Pen.He was with Robbie Williams and John Wilkes suppin Guiness and munchin on a local produce Pork Pie.I asked Linesey if he was leaving and he said no and he's moved in with Amir Begovic and Byron Moore in a flat above Bargain Booze in Rookery.

Thought he would have had a cheese and bacon oatcake or at least a Wright's meat & potato pie to show his local loyalty than a pork pie!

If he had cracked a rib in the first five minutes then surely he would have felt it at half time especially, during a rest period.

Also, he had a lung bursting run right at the death against Rotherham which come to nothing.

Cracked ribs would have affected him on Sunday and it would have showed. I saw nothing untoward.

Strange one.

Thsts what I thought although I did notice Lines to a knock in the side early on and periodically rubbing himself there throughout the game. Never thought it would be a cracked rib though given he finished the match.

Within Fair Play Rules simple. Smurf is only in his first year, as you say why the rush? He knows what he wants to spend, whether excitement for the club will change, who knows?

The only reason i could see him going to a **** hole like Bradford is to be closer to his Mrs.

i said to my mate last week that if he moves, and its not to a higher league then it'll be a move further north.

i hope we do convince him to stay because he's a class above anyone in this league.

I'm sure his missus is actually from down South.

Is that the same flat that was set on fire? If so, a great view of the Robin Hoods beer garden.

He did pull up at the start of the game, and on a couple of other occasions as well.
