The alternative option is that it's "deliberate" misinformation.

 

I've noticed a few other times that Adams occasionally makes a pre-match statement and then does something entirely opposite. I guess the plan is to make the opposition think that Vale are going to line-up in a certain way and then lo and behold they don't.

 

I remember last season there was a few occasions when we had the manager saying there was an injury crisis and suchlike and then the players he mentioned actually played the next 90 minutes, seemingly without any problems.

 

So, whilst it is most likely to be a selection/formation change, there's always the slight chance that it may be a double-bluff!

Underwhelming =fail to impress/disappointing.

 

But you then say about other's will slate him:doh:
