His record on youth isn't the best. Thinking back over all his Vale signings, all have been relatively old. Even Burge was 24.

The vast majority of managers sign players hitch they have worked with before. It's not just Adams. Heaven knows what Everton fans think of Di Matteo, he's moving his entire Wigan squad there.

 

To the best of my knowledge, Adams never worked with Neil, Tomlin, Mohammed, JMW, Roberson, Dickinson, Jones, Lines, Hughes etc before he signed them.

Ah Fraser, happy days. I remember him getting booked against Crewe a couple of years ago and he wasn't even on the pitch, just running up and down the touchline haha I enjoyed that. last I heard he got a 2 year contract with Barnet but couldn't get on the bench even. Don't know what he's up to now. Anyonr know ?

You know, after the Bratt debacle and all them years of pain and the protests we did to remove them, i honestly thought that one day we would all be on the same page.

Next week marks the first time in 4 years that ive flown over and will not attend the Vale when they are playing because quite frankly im ****ed to the back teeth of the whole thing at the minute and would rather spend my afternoon at Wolverhampton races rather than doing a 6 hr round journey to hear tales of how **** Adams is and how we could do better without him and Smurf is talking crap and JMW is rubbish and Ryan Burge is a superstar and Morsy got treated badly and blah blah blah.

Then on the way home you have to listen to Micky sarcasticly, cringeworthingly insult the RS interviewer.

Football and, so it seems, port vale in particular, attracts an unlimited conveyor belt of self centred wands and I struggle to want to be a part of it. My life has been richer for it in all honesty. I have other things I enjoy in my life of a weekend and struggle to see sense in wasting precious time away from work being a part of a circle of egotistical attention sucking stupidity by grown men that have the chance of a better life than me. I just don't buy into the chest beating of calling myself a loyal fan to the detriment of my recreational interests.
