Mr Smurf made it clear last night in these present circumstances forced on the Club the footballing authorities unless our Financial matters e.g. selling more STs we could NOT sign anymore players and that included Doumbe who was very miffed when told my MA yesterday that we could NOT sign him........If we can raise finances through maybe by for e.g. taking deposits for next seasons STs this matter could be resolved......He asked for money raising ideas STARTING now as the Footballing authorities had tied his hands personally.......Thoughts and idea's folks........I personally am prepared to pay £50 NOW as a deposit on next seasons ST...Are you??

To add to my statement above........He was also under the impression that with a little more financial clout we were two players short of a Play-off place.......So obviously he and MA are still interested in adding to our present Squad......

Won't that mean we are short at the start of next season? Surely, you can't count the same money twice.

I would think so? We've got some dead wood who clearly won't cut it in this league - Rob Taylor, Joe Davies & Chris Shuker spring to mind.

As I said on another thread have we counted the money from box sales as I know that the box holders were given until the 31 st July to cough up so 33 boxes at say 8.5k and all the money from vp tickets and directors box tots surely this would be a substantial amount?

 

As I say I don't know if all this revenue has been included in the overall projections but if nobody has paid yet then how can it!!

Current Interest Rates would make this negligible even if it was still around.
