I dont think anyone is castigating adams..... MOLD caused the problems but how did mold get the power to cause the problems?.... there were only 4 directors at the time deakin and miller were voted onto the board without buying the required shares... it takes 4 directors to make a decision [making the board quorate].... you cant just blame bratt oliver and lloyd for that decision.. and even if adams wasnt present at the meeting he allowed it to happen by his silence following the decision.

He took the directors seat, he even said he may buy shares, on taking the seat he took on the responsibilities of a director... those are the facts of the situation... deakin and miller didnt agree to allow 2 people to join the board with no shares... they didnt, in this instance, breach the articles... bratt, oliver, lloyd and adams did that... and if there is any repercussions from the nil paid shares all four take that responsibility, by deed or omission.

Adams did a good job last season but that doesnt change the fact that he was on the board that allowed deakin and miller in without buying shares.

Yep Bratt legally flogged his shares to Lloyd so he will go scott free.......Can Lodey be implicated in anyway as Club secretary he MUST have been aware of this 'nil paid share' issue.......

 

Why shouldn't he go scott free? You've just stated that from a legal point of view he didn't do anything wrong.

Lots of defamation, libel and hearsay on this thread. If you're all so confident that you know what went on and have the evidence to back up your chatter then why don't you approach the CPS with a criminal case for them to consider?

 

There is little doubt that the previous board were to$$, there is plenty to back that up but describing everybody involved in the club at the time as a villain seems a little over the top. Naïve board members found out of their depth, led astray by a couple of external opportunists through a desperate attempt to reverse a self inflicted disaster would be nearer to the money.

I dont remember him promising anything, I do remember all the protest groups facilitating a situation that enabled him to gain promotion, come to think of it I dont recal him thanking those involved for their help in removing MOLD and Co I hope that was an oversight and not because of any loyalty to his old board companions

Adams got used. He never paid £100K to be a director. No - I do not think he should be sacked. Yes I will stand in court and say this. Big wow.

I think you need to re-read some of the posts because your coming up with your own conclusion. I want everyone who has done and can be proved anything untoward to be brought to account, be it directors, managers, players or the tea lady.

 

I personally think Adams was naive and was used by the Bratt Pack to facilitate the destruction of the club. Thankfully the fans got their wishes, new owners and a new league, something that wouldn't have happened under the old regime.

 

There is no witch hunt whatsoever and there is nothing libelous, people just want justice served to anyone found to be the wrong side of the law.
