If they insist on having an image on the back, maybe the angel on top of the town hall would have been better? Or the town hall itself, a great looking building!

Now I've seen it in the flesh I've changed my mind - it's awful, one of the worst we have had in many years.

 

The off-the-peg Sondico from last season was a far better looking shirt.

 

It needs piping and a different collar.

 

If the batch that was sent back was worse than that I'd have hated to see it.

I don't actually mind the back logo - it's the front. Just a bit of black piping and a black collar would have made it look finished.

As LV says it needs piping as well as a coloured collar. It looks like a plain white T with iron on GMB letters and then turn it over and there is dirt on the bottom. I'm not being negative about the club I just think the shirt is very poor.

Who gives a **** what the shirt looks like, I'd rather have a crap shirt with decent players wearing them, than having a decent shirt with crap players wearing it! It's a ******* football shirt that people wear to football matches!!! I didn't like the Kalamazoo shirt that looked as though It had been sprayed with black paint but I still bought one and I still have it, it's vale memorabilia just as this new one will be in 10 years time

 

But now its a classic vintage shirt.Material used was fab.

Personally I think it's the worst home kit in all of the time I've gone the vale tbh, hoping the away kit will be a lot better.

I thought this years team strip and badge was meant to be retro with a nod toward the team of 54. I think it's meant to be plain to suit the era, especially with the legend for those who went before on the inside collar. maybe they gauged the fans vote for a retro badge wrongly and went for this style of shirt to suit the badge. lets see what the away strip looks like.
