So far the first major moan of the closed season is ST prices and the solution according to the ones moaning most are: 1. Reduce the price, despite ST sales being by far our main source of income. 2. Spend big before those floating will commit with no guarantee that they will. 3. Have a single price for STs on account it unfairly penalises those who haven't saved over the past 12 months knowing when STs will go on sale. 4. Let fans have a ST and then pay when they want (that ones a belter). And some of you want the fans to have more say in running the club? [emoji1787]

An evening with DM & Matt Hancock - Thurs 2nd May

Talk is cheap, as people used to throw at DF all the time once we were struggling. Let's see what shape we're in come August -
Indeed. Central midfield would be the first priority for me. At least 2 players who can actually get on the ball and play.
-
Think it's safe to say that by seeing fit to offer Uche a renewal, DM has not filled me full of confidence as to his recruitment plans. If he signs, that will be a striker who scored one goal last season, and a left back who was brought in by DM but didn't play in favour of a 16yo.
-
Why would we do that? He's bloody awful
-
Smiths done that himself.

Jury still very much out for me on DM. Don't blame him entirely for our relegation, though think he has to shoulder some responsibility as he's completely failed to get any kind of tune out of what he has had. He's also continued to play the same formation despite us clearly not being suited for it. He's actually made us worse going forward imho. His biggest sin for me has been playing Garrity, our top scorer, in deep midfield for the majority of his time here. One transfer window and until November for me to prove that he's got what it takes.

Any player who wasn't a central defender didn't suit Aspins style. Sure he played 5 in one game -
Easy innit [emoji6]

He didn't but more than most. He's by far the rawest of our youngsters for me and would likely benefit most from a loan at VNL level. Has ability though

I don't think anybody in their right mind will be saying 'why let him go?' when the retained list is published. Will probably be the first time this season everybody is in full agreement -
Players I never want to see in a Vale shirt again

We've been garbage except for 1.5 seasons Smith has been a first team regular. People used to make the same argument about Pope. First season after we let him go we went up -
Agreed. If this had been anybody but DM (say Kennedy who was written off immediately when he was rumoured) there would be no OVF for molten servers

Forgot about Lowe. Add him to the list but not in place of Smith -
What has been DMs game plan? Nick a point? He can do one for me too
-
Though I'm unlikely to get my wish: Grant Iacovitti Smith Weir Ojo Loft Uche Jones Wilson (as much as I love him) Massey Lopata Mighten I'm giving Debrah the benefit of the doubt on account of the shower next to him, but it's close Edit: And Lowe (forgot about him)

What an idiotic decision it looks now for Brum to bring in Rooney and sack Eustace

46 points is going to be enough I think. Can we win 2 home games? COME ON VALE!
