I must have undertaken the BBC League 2 predictor about 50 times this last week, entering every possibility over and over again, and one things for certain - anything can happen!

That's an understatement! But I'm sure I speak for all of us in saying that I just hope and pray that we don't need to go to the last day of the season against Wycombe, although looking at the permutations this could well be the case. Hopefully all the bad dreams will cease after a stonking win on Saturday.

I'm bringing my 5-year-old daughter to her first Port Vale game this Saturday. At dinner last night, and totally out of the blue, she messed about with her Yorkshire pudding and asked: " Dad, what does emotional mean?" I was sorely tempted to come back with " Ask me around 4.50pm on Saturday, or at half-time, when you're asking me if we can leave!"

Vale will win on Saturday, it will be tight and it will be nerve wracking but sub consciously Northampton will have one eye on the up and coming play off matches. My money is on 1-0 Vale an early goal to calm the nerves followed by some last ditch defending at the end of the game..............

That sounds pretty much like a Vale game to me! Dont think I could handle it if we do one of our lets cling on tactics last 10 minutes!

There will certainly some foot-tapping and nail-biting going on at VP on Saturday unless we can get off to a flyer like we did against the Brewers. I'm sure we'll be okay.....won't we?

Excatly what I was thinking! Apprehension filled with optimism equals celebration....:)

I'm getting very nervous. I'd rather be one of the

players on Sat. At least they can get it out of their systems during the match, but watching, or listening, will be agony.

Come on Vale, it's been 19 years. I can't stand the thought of the play-offs, or another year in this division. Nerves are in bits.

To me being Vale at the moment is like being with a bird that's cheated on you multiple times, you think she's changed now though and Saturday is the test of that but you still have what she's done to you before in the back of your mind!

're 16, you've never been with a bird!

This game won't be easy, both sides need the points, but I'm confident that we'll do it. The big 'if' is whether or not Vale make a good start and hit the ground running like Adams prefers them to do. It's essential we have a good tempo from the off and our players perform as they can and DO NOT concede possession cheaply.

Northampton are under pressure too and they could well be nervous, it's up to our players to be professional and get what they deserve for their efforts this season.

(I wouldn't like to be going to Wycombe needing a win!!).
