I said it when we finally signed him, he's the best signing the club has made for a long, long time. He didn't move for 5 million pounds some years ago for no reason. He may be getting on but he keeps himself in shape and is one of the most hard working players in the squad. He also plays with so much enthusiasm that it can't not have a knock on effect on those around him.

 

Pope and Hughes are the best forward partnership in the league. If they continue to get good service from out wide they'll also be one of the most feared in League One.

 

IF we go up pope Hughes Williamson and somebody with the same quality as Richards would be fantastic

He was always going to be awesome. Anyone who wasn't happy with us signing him is a moron! I bet everyone who said they wouldn't celebrate when he scored, did so last night.

 

I exprressed a few doubts. Then I thought, hold on. He has served his time, he has live with it. Its not down to me. We have signed a player capable of playing at at higher level so. Yea I did the hughsy last night with pleasure. If lee hughes is in a squad, he will score and it was a good move by the club overall. I thank wildes for providing the funds to sign him.
