Is The Fat Lady Still Singing?

The fat lady most certainly is singing and thank Christ for that!

I have been a Port Vale fan for over 20 years (I'm 28) and have up until the latter part of this season been proud to call myself a Port Vale fan. Today must be a real turning point. It never for one second occured to me that Vale would return from Broadhall Way today with anything and for the first time in my life late in the second half I found myself almost willing Stevenage to score so that the any lingering play off aspirations were extinct.

Our Club has become an embarassment from top to bottom slowly but surely under V2001. After today V2001's position is undeniably untenable. We have no manager, and you have lost the support of the vast majority of the fans.

It comes to something when you are willing something which has been so close to your heart for most of you life to fail - this is how I felt today.

Bratt and Co you ignorant and deluded ******s you are the cancer of our club. We dont want you, if you have any genuine love for Port Vale will you please place the club in the hands of people capable of doing it justice?

Im worried they wont get booted out can someone please assure me they will
Ok I'll assure you they will. The swing-o-meter has taken a big swing in Mo & Mark's favour over the past few days. Billy did a great job of alienating the board once again in the Sjokenel last week. What a walley:laugh:

A heartfelt post there feller. I feel the same way I shouted with glee when Stockport scored their second goal then felt empty but I consoled myself by saying it's all part of 'the plan' and is another big nail in this board's coffin. There is more nails in it than in an ironmongers shop.

The board have now played their final card, the play offs, and they have lost,so I would hope that after say a 48 hour cooling off period they will realise that the only option is to make that call to Chaudrys solicitor and began talks.

What other reason is there to cling on ===

I hope your right...

But I'm concerned they are hiding something!!!

My fear is that they have backed themselves into a corner and now they are worried that if Mo's account gets his hands on the books, he will take one look and run a mile, then where would V2001 be???

It's the only reason I can think of to explain why they keep hanging on when everyone else wants change.

I really hope I'm wrong!

I think that todays result, meaning we can no longer get in the play-offs, will have persuaded alot of fence-sitters that change is needed.

If V2001 do remain in charge then I can not see any real hope of assembling a squad decent enough just to compete in this division next season, let alone try and mount a promotion push.
