JMW......why drop him because the keeper saved one?

 

Give the lad some credit, he has the balls to take them, what does dropping him do for his confidence?

 

I was thinking the same about the confidence factor but mickys made the decision to let someone else take on the role and it's got to be lee Hughes you'd think?...

 

He's missed his last two and when you have a player like Hughes who's took them at most clubs I think the times right to let him have the next one.

It was a crap penalty that the keeper saved and its not the first one he's missed,pope was relieved of pen taking after a couple of misses.

 

Hundreds of penalties are 'crap' but because the keeper goes the other way they go in and everyone's happy.

It's not my decision, we were asked who we would like to take the penalties, I would like JMW to carry on and I accept fully that he won't score every one.

Last day of the season, away at Wycombe, Neal goes off injured 5 mins before time. Everyone else around us in the table are winning. The game has been a cagey nil-nil, Vale need a goal.
