What are you all moaning about,if you had been told last October when you were in financial meltdown that you would have a new wealthy owner and be sat in the top 2 or 3 with only 7 games to play you would have been phoning for the men in white coats. Its odds on you will get automatic promotion, you have had your bad run and still in a healthy position, why not sit back and enjoy it.Success for smaller clubs like Vale and Bristol Rovers does not come very often so instead of moaning enjoy your spell in the limelight.

Without sounding rude, you don't have to read them. ;)

I don't think it's surprising nor a coincidence that we are getting the same message. I think there has been clear media instructions passed down to use that particular line and personally I agree with it. It shows a professional approach to PR.

I personally think the club were a little rattled by the criticism that came during the lean spell and I think they realised that everyone had to get "on message" from the manager to the players to the club staff.

Personally, I think it's good to see and professional that the club are repeating the message.

It may be monotonous and to some degree boring - but I'd much rather have a boring, well-run, professional club than an "exciting", dysfunctional one.

Over the last few years, prior to this board, we've surely had enough examples of unprofessionalism, mixed messages and so on from the boardroom down to last us a lifetime

brilliant post totally agree

What Rob and Tosh said. It's just a professional approach to marketing. They're trying to rebuild the fan base and get people back into the habit of going to Vale Park. That can be done by cheap ale, cheap admission prices, appealing to supporters to rally round, to bring a friend, to bring youngsters - they're doing all of these things, and it's great to see.

Oh, and we've played some great football this season as well!

I appreciate that butit is contagious. You should go on one of the forums at Rovers and see what i mean,a new stadium about to be built 33 points from the last 17 games and still they moan,in fact they are moaning more now than they were when we were bottom of the league at xmas. You can never please some people and sorry to say you got a few on here, shame on them. They should be bouncing and enjoying the success.
