Totally different question. Maybe a moment or two considering the slightly different contributions made by say, Pope and Birchall for Vale so far this season ? Your question is perfectly valid, but irrelevant in the context of mine. Richards would add nothing we don't already have, and could well make a tricky situation worse.

Not just MA's. it's every manager they've had. Both prefer to play on the wings they're being asked to play on.

Personally I'd also be tempted to give Shuker a run on the wing. He's not a 90 minute man but say we go 1-0 up with him on the field, you can always bring on a wide midfielder to sure it up that little bit more towards the end when he tires.

 

Adams clearly has his favourites and needs to realise that no-one will have a moan if he ever shakes it up a bit.

 

On a side note, I'd go with Pope and Williamson tonight. Ben did well before being subbed on Saturday.

He hasn't been very good for the last 4-5 games. Resting on his laurels? We should have more completion for places. Antony offers something totally different. I think Burge need a rest anyway. He's played a lot recently.

Ryan Burge could easily play alongside Griffiths - a player you produced hundreds of tribute shirts for a couple of years ago I seem to remember.
