Jones ill, Morsy oppurtunity

Apparently Jones could miss tomorrow with illness. Could this force Micky's hand and mean Loft at lb and as a result Morsy back into CM?

Actually that will give the midfield 2 a bit more bite but will be interesting to see the response Morsy gets from the Oxford players and fans after his strong tackling performance against them on tele.

If Adams goes with Morsy, he could and probably will put Yates at LB and leave the midfield 2 the same.

I'd like Morsy, Hughes and maybe even Shuker to come in. I think Yates will be the only one to actually come in.

I feel sorry for Shuker tbh as he gets some unjustified stick on here imo,whereas Loft can do no wrong for some,Shuker rarely wastes a pass and can deliver a decent free kick into the box.

i really rate Shuker and i think he should be given more game time especially at vale park when team invite us to attack. His range of passing could be the key to unlock defences and provide a variation to our get it wide fast policy that teams are starting to figure out.

Shuker is a good player.Always busy,wants the ball, plays a decent through ball,and can put in a dangerous cross.He needs to start in a game IMO.He can dictate the tempo early on that way.I would like to see a bit more of him( no pun intended).

I dont think it's a coincidence that some of our best games early in the season had him in the team,maybe it's time to rest Loft for a couple of games as for me he has been off his game for a few games.

I agree with all the pro Shuker stuff. He's composed on the ball, passes well and can take a set piece.

I think if Jones is ill,as reported,Lofty could drop back and Shuker take his place in midfield.I think we need 5 in midfield at the moment so maybe Yates to go to left back.My midfield tomorrow would be Shuker,Morsy,Burge,Loft and Dodds( just behind Tom.)

Hope he recovers we need jones he's our best player. Adams will keep it the same but put Yates in jones and Hughes for Andrew, morsy won't start (although he should).

And shuker is decent enough as long as he plays in a midfield 3. I feel he is far to weak to play in a 2, saying that loft is no better.

Yates could play a blinder, but would he be dropped straight away even if we win?

At least the games are coming thick and fast, so there's chances to overcome bad results quickly.

Bolster the midfield would be my priority.
