Nothing wrong with Penkhull Dave! I quite like the greyhound, Im not keen on the decor in the Marquis Werrington, I reckoon you probably like it though!

Funnily enough mate its not me favourite.....i like the White Lion given a choice.

 

Prob start off in Stoke.......Stoke and Burslem are fantastic drinking places now and much better than Hanley or Castle

I don't go in the white lion, greyhound or terrace if i fancy the walk, i the thistley hough side of penkhull.

The Marquis is quite expensive mate..... we use it but only out of habit tbh

Haha was just taking the **** due to it's proximity to a certain football ground. You do get a great view of it from up Penkhull bank, though.

Burlsem has alwasy been great for a pub crawl but IMO not as good now as it was (lost a few good uns)

I put above mate that Stoke and Burslem are now two fantastic drinking places.

Oh I agree it still is a great drinking place. But it has lost some good uns.

 

I found myself in the Furlong in Tunstall a couple of weeks ago for a beer session with my nephew. Changed so much from the pub I knew but great ale and really good to see it so busy.
