15 years ago yesterday marked one of the most memorable goals ive ever seen at Vale Park.

My memory isnt all that but im sure the game before he got a bit of abuse from the fans and when he scored against Grimsby didnt he give the fans some proper "Up yours" in his celebration??

He was always doing that but he used to get disorientated when he crossed the half way line. I do remember it though.

I recall him having complete control and dribbling straight the way through. This could have been romanticised somewhat but he did evade at least 4 or 5 good tackles.

Yes,I think the ball was getting away from him and he just whacked it .

And i think 14 years ago around this time we were sat in the Division 1 playoff places am i right? A 3-2 home win over Oldham put us up to fifth place- think Naylor scored twice and Lee Mills scored the third.
