I dont think the SC is complaining... from what I gather people were asking the SC questions about the forum.... which they couldnt answer because they were not involved in organising it.... so they referred them to radio stoke

Doesnt that in its self make it odd?... Where would fans naturally turn to ask questions about a fans forum?... SC or RS?

Apparently the new guys think its the radio station thats as much use as a third nipple.

i hope this is just a blip and smurfy and marty trying to reach as many of the fan base as possible by using radio sjoke

 

it does seem a bit of a slap in the face for the likes of pete, gaz and martin to me

 

but maybe it's something they just wanted to orginise themselves rather than it be led by the SC

Neither.......... fans are naturally asking the SC questions about the fans forum.... but the SC doesnt know the answers because its being organised by RS

Didn't Radio Joke try to call a fans forum behind the SC backs last season with mold, didn't that meeting not take place because Radio Joke and mold tried to cold shoulder the real fans of the club, the very people that were fighting for change, the SC, SEO, B&G, NLV etc; I'm just hoping now that the new board are not cold shouldering the SC and It's just a blip, otherwise we could find ourselves in the same situation as when Mold were running the show, and none of us want that do we.

fans getting excited about the morals of our new owners by signing a criminal and then not asking SC to arrange a meeting.

 

I think the problems are with what was said at the press conf i.e "we want more women, kids and families to turn up" then a guy who killed someone drunk driving then gets fined for assaulting a woman in dec 2011 gets signed, hardly something to back up that request.

Then they say "we will only deal with things through the SC as that is the correct conduit to handle matters" then at the 1st opportunity that fails. We have just been lied to for years and its nothing to do with people finding faults just that people are more aware of whats being said now and will instantly pick up on something that goes against their statements.

Their own fault really but hey we now have zero say in anything tbh so it is what it is i suppose.

Naturally they want to use a venue that they now own, maximising income on bar sales.

 

Using Radio Stoke as a host also means that they will reach a larger audience, assuming that the forum will be recorded and updates given on RS.

 

No disrespect to the SC, who I think have been excellent in recent times, but I can't help thinking that they are making a mountain out of a molehill and would hope that they expressed their 'concerns' to Wildes and Smurf before putting finger to keyboard.
